Rosanne Wiseman
Rosanne Wiseman graduated from the Open College of the Arts and the University for the Creative Arts in 2018. Working from sketches in her studio in Mellon Charles, Aultbea, her main subject matter is the coast and surrounding landscape, though she also creates some intuitive abstract work, concentrating on colour shape and texture. She is currently engaged as Artists for the Aultbea Stories Community Project.

Fiona Mackenzie
Fiona Mackenzie was born in Inverness and spent her childhood in the Highlands. She engages with the spirit of the place by walking, swimming in the sea, and often sitting watching the dramatic and constantly changing light on the sea and mountains. This closeness to nature allows her to sketch directly from her surroundings in paint, inks, or pencil.

Mhairi Law, Island Darkroom
Mhairi Law (b. Scottish Borders 1991), lives and works on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. Working primarily in medium format photography and alt-processes, her work explores landscapes and senses of place with projects spanning from the Faroe Islands, Chilean Patagonia and Lewis itself.
Mhairi operates a gallery and studio space on the Isle of Lewis, Island Darkroom, featuring photographic exhibitions and holding workshops in traditional analogue processes.

Julie Rutter, Black Isle Yarns
Julie has always have a love for the outdoors and developed a keen interest in natural dye techniques. Aware how little farmers received for their fleeces and at the same time struggling to source undyed British wool, Julie began to investigate the options for having local wool spun. And so Black Isle Yarns was born, creating custom spun yarns from fleeces hand selected from local farms and small holdings on the Black Isle.

Sientje, Highland Sea Ceramics
Sientje rained as a potter in Germany and moved to the Isle of Skye in 2001 to work in a Uig pottery. She creates hand-thrown, small batch pieces from stoneware clay and, as a result, each piece is unique and varied. Her glazes mirror the colours of the Scottish landscape from blues and greens of the sea to the upper and heather hues found in the Highland mountains.
