Spirit of the Highlands Tapestry

This community-led project saw stitching groups being formed across the Highlands, each working on individual panels. Here we get the chance to see the tapestries created by our local groups, before they rejoin the main collection to be held in Inverness Castle. The tapestry is a visual vehicle for storytelling, a huge arts project bringing communities together to share in representing and sharing the stories from their local area.
