Grand Opening & Exhibition Preview
Saturday 28th February
10 am - 4pm
Free, donations welcomed
Join us to help launch and celebrate our first exhibitions of 2026, marking the start of our 2026 Spring season. Artists Jessica Potter (Mountain Song) and Tom Brice (Paths) will introduce their artwork, our wonderful Museum cafe will be open and the Museum Collection will be free to visit for the day.
In our Lower Gallery, Tom Brice's large-scale textile images are an exploration of mythology and imagination depicting birds - but are not your typical bird studies! We think visitors of all ages will be intrigued and fascinated by these colourful textile artworks.
In our Upper Gallery, Jessica Potter's photographic portraits of glacial erratic rocks combine with pencil and graphite drawings. These images will be presented alongside her film, Mountain Song, made in 2024.

A warm welcome to all who are able to come along!
