RSW Summer Exhibition
Gairloch Museum is thrilled and honoured to host a lively and invigorating Summer Exhibition by elected members of the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour (RSW).
The RSW is one of Scotland’s foremost art societies, dedicated to celebrating the diversity, vitality, and continuing relevance of watercolour painting. For nearly 150 years, the Society has been at the heart of the Scottish art world, providing a platform for both established and emerging artists to exhibit their work.
Run by artists, for artists, the RSW is a Scottish charity committed to nurturing creative excellence in water-based media and is proud to have HM King Charles III, Duke of Rothesay — himself an accomplished watercolourist — as its Royal Patron.
This vibrant show brings together outstanding contemporary artists from across Scotland — offering visitors the chance to experience the imagination, skill, and expressive range of today’s RSW members. From delicate landscapes to bold, abstract works, the exhibition celebrates the continuing versatility of water-based media in the hands of those who constantly push its creative boundaries.
We warmly invite you to visit the Exhibition and see for yourself why the RSW continues to lead the way in Scottish visual art.
