Creative Writing Group
Tuesday 12th August
2.30pm - 3.30pm
Our Creative Writing Group is a friendly, relaxed session to help you get writing. We will maybe do some writing exercises and share our endeavours. The sharing of writing can be either what we have produced during the brief writing exercise or could be something that we have worked on at home. The prompt for this session is "Hidden Message".
The group meet in the Snug Room at The GALE Centre.

Tendrils in the Museum
Wednesday 13th August
7pm - 8pm
A performance of butoh dance by Stefano Puzzuoli with improvised music by Ginevra House, Neil Davidson and Fritz Welch. Butoh emerged in Japan during the post-war turmoil of the 50s and 60s, marking a break from the rigid structures of traditional dance. Rather than aspiring to refined aesthetics, the dance attempts to expose the joys and sorrows of life, exploring the most fundamental elements of physical and psychological existence. This event is free to attend.

Ceilidh House Gathering
Monday 18th August
7pm - 9pm

Come and sit in front of the virtual fireside, sing a song, tell a tale, read a poem, play a tune, bring your knitting or just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming you!

Doors open at 6.30pm. £2 donation per person appreciated.
