Rosanne Wiseman is a mixed media artist from Mellon Charles, Aultbea where she has lived since the 1970s. The proximity of the sea (Loch Ewe) and the crofting landscape are a major source of inspiration for Rosanne.

Working from her home studio she uses a combination of paint and mixed media to interpret the colours and textures of the surrounding sea and landscape working from direct observation, memory and a sense of place.

Rosanne graduated in 2018 from the Open College of the Arts and the University for the Creative Arts with a BA (Hons) degree in Painting. She is an artist member of Visual Arts Scotland and The Society of Scottish Artists
